The Teen Environment And Neighborhood Study is funded by the National Institutes of Health. It is being conducted in Maryland and King County, WA to learn more about how local neighborhoods can affect the health and growth of teenagers.
For this project we are looking for:
Teens between the ages of 12-16 and their parents who...
are able to walk and have no disorders that affect growth or diet...
To participate, teens will complete a survey about their home and neighborhood, and tell us about the variety of foods they have eaten. Teens will also wear an activity meter and GPS device for one week. Parents will also complete a smaller survey. For participating in this study, your child will receive $40!
Teens will also be entered into a drawing for $100!
If you fit our criteria and live in either Maryland or King County, contact us to participate!
